Christmas and updates

I was really busy . so I apologize for not doing much on DA. but chrristmas  is coming so....

I remember back when I was really little, we listened to this months before and after Christmas....the funny thing is, I never really thought of or recognized them as actual carols. I never heard the original version of God Rest Ye, Merry Gentlemen or the Litte drummer boy until...well, only a couple years ago. But whenever I listened to them, I imagined some sort of great adventure going on featuring some of my imaginary characters...each song was a "chapter" of the story, sort of. "God rest ye..." and "Stille Nacht" was the death of their hope, and then "Hark the Herald Angels sing" was a resurgance in hope.
Oddly people thought I was a depraved child since I didn't have lot of things other kids my age had...I keep getting questions from former classmates and some friends from college: "you never had {x thing} as a kid?" "You never watched {x movie} as a kid? Where's your childhood?" 
I think I turned out okay despite missing out on a lot...


As for the updates, an MRI  recently (I hate MRIs....) showed no new changes. no news is good news....
